No. They haven't in 2-3 years.
Friendly and family oriented
Yes they do
Not needed. Recommend sweet potatoe souffle but only served on Friday.
Good food 😊 Good service 👌☺️
This place is amazing! Old school diner with friendly faces and great food. The kids loved their root beer float and I loved the Arnold Palmer they made me with fresh sweet tea and homemade lemonade! Giant slices of pie. You can even eat inside of an old grey hound bus. Don't miss this gem :)
Great! The food was very good, the waitress, Carol, was very friendly and helpful and the sweet tea lager was excellent! We went there for our last meal to celebrate our son's graduating basic training and really enjoyed ourselves.
I ordered thru the waitr app. Asked for chicken tenders instead of bbq chicken inside my jimmi changa. Along with other stuff totaling over $30. They said they couldnt do it without charging me the $1.50 ( even tho this isnt even an option thru the app) im told i have to ask for the upcharge thru waitr. I then go trhu the trouble to get waitr to upcharge me. And upon delivery, the bbq chicken was still in my jimmi changa and they put the chicken tenders on the side. Im never going to this location or using waitr again. They are rude when you try and call and every single time i order at this location SOMETHING is wrong.
Veggies and their chicken are great. Come on down and try em
Always good service and good food erasable price. Drive-through even functions pretty efficiently.
Food was cold. Entire family got sick. Would not recommend at all.
I wanna go ahead and say that I enjoy country's food, that’s not the problem. Over the past couple of months every time I have ordered (call in), my order has been wrong. And it’s not just a simple thing like I can just pick off my plate, They forgot a whole meal off of my order. I’ve given them multiple chances to redeem themselves, but I’ll be taking my business to the other locations from now on.
I've always been a fan of Country's BBQ and I've had many memories of this bus station. Meal was everything I expected. Yum.
Had three ribs, three chicken tenders, Texas toast, and Brunswick stew. This place gives you the best bang for your buck, and Country's is arguably the best BBQ in Columbus. Everything is done very well, and the customer service is always very friendly. My only complaint was that there could've been a bigger variety of sauces. The ribs were a little dry. We ate inside the little bus which was a nice experience if you want a more private dinner. Would come again!
Country’s has fantastic food!! The portions are huge. This is a restaurant that everyone needs to try. The tea is good. The service is good. The atmosphere is fun. I personally don’t think you can find better barbecue in Columbus. Make sure you save room for a slice of pie. Let’s be honest, you won’t have room for pie so take it to go!
Horrible experience!!!!! Ribs cold and tough. Baked beans was 70% sauce. Tater salad good tea good. Brought the ribs situation to the staff's attention. Here is the response "They are all like that. We haven't made a new batch." Wrong answer to me. Country's will not have my family and I as customers for a very long time. I didn't want anything for free just fix the problem.
No social distancing. At all. Irresponsible.
First time, thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. Love the atmosphere. Had the carnivore plate, delicious with a local craft IPA. Plenty of leftovers to take home and enjoy later. Smoked poultry was moist and flavorful. Great value. Pleasant waitstaff. Thanks!
During this pandemic, everyone is attempting to support "local businesses" by purchasing food to go. We went to Countrys on Broad St tonight and waited in the drive thru for 15 minutes AFTER placing our order. No problem. Everyone wanted BBQ. That's cool. We ordered our usual, the Wed night might fine We get to the window finally and the total is like $21 something. We were like no way. Its $4.99 x 2 what's up. The order taking person says very rudely, that's dine in only. Okaaaaay. Hard to spend money locally when you cant get what ya want.
I was led to this establishment by asking a number of long time resident locals. I was not led astray. The Conglomeration Plate had two types of pork and brisket, came with two sides of my choice, and bread of choice. Everything was incredible. The downtown/Broadway location is cool-- it's in an old 1930s era bus station!
too much bbq sauce
Great b b q great atmosphere been going there for years live the place and people
Just went in to pick up call in order. The food I ate was good
It was good! I hadn't been a huge fan but I have recently gone there a few times and I've really enjoyed the food. This particular location is in Downtown (or Uptown ) Columbus Georgia's old bus terminal and it's a really neat atmosphere.
Great food and staff! Got to eat in the bus it's so worth the vibes
Fantastic! We were hungry and in the mood for BBQ, Country's On Broad was close and open. Being from out of town and not familiar with the Columbus food scene close and open at 7:30 pm were the deciding factor to give COB a try. Close and open drew us in, the delicious food, the great service, the low prices and all of this in a cool old bus depot is what will bring me back any time I'm with in 50 miles. Yes I will go out of my way and make a special "pilgrimage" to Country's On Broad. Since I've been traveling through out Georgia over the past year COB is the best restaurant I've had the pleasure to enjoy a meal! I'm looking forward to returning and sampling other items off their extensive menu. But you can bet that I will be ordering the Goober Pie for dessert. Never heard of it let along had Goober Pie I ordered it based on name alone and now I'm hooked! It's only been a week and I'm jonesing for Country's On Broad!
Today was not a good experience at one of my favorite places to eat. Today my order was thrown together. Bread on one sandwich wasn't toasted and no mayo, one piece of tomato,no sauce for the pulled pork, and no sauce on my backfire chicken wings. I am very disappointed.
Great BBQ at a good price with very friendly staff. Nice location with a good atmosphere. Lots of different food options with daily specials.
My Taco Salad tasted good, not enough lettuce, and too much chillie juice. Restaurant was clean, service was great.
Outstanding BBQ restaurant. Well worth s visit. Excellent milkshakes served in a Mason jar.
Food and service great, not practicing social distancing on our visit. My daughter on prior visit said they were social distancing. Would not have made this visit if aware they apparently have changed. Two stars because not social distancing.
Wonderful food, atmosphere and service is ALWAYS outstanding!
Nice Place with the bus restaurant.Customer Service is very good. The BBQ is ok. The meat is tough.I love the sweet tea.
The food came fast even though it was almost full of people and the staff was amazing, they checked up on us often to make sure we didn't need a refill which is great.
Good food. Friendly staff.
EXCELLENT FOOD and service. The ribs were so good! They fell right off the bones and the flavor was right on point. We also had fried pickles and fried BBQ eggroll which was filled with collard greens, brisket and a sauce 👌🙌I would definitely recommend this place.
Just like I ordered call ahead is great
As always, the food is delicious. I understand they have an old school vibe, but it wouldn't hurt to update and clean the outside of the building. Restaurant in a cool old bus station close to the river walk. They even have an old Greyhound bus converted into a dining car. Great food, great service. Very retro. Will stop in again on my next visit to Columbus, GA. Down home, old school Southern food. Large portions! BBQ was very good. Huge mason jars for your iced tea. The fries weren’t so good. Massive meringue on your pie. Great food, great prices.
First time there in a long time...Not going again...everything was cold..😫Brunswick stew had to be heated twice...Butter beans had no flavor at all...,fries were cold as were the ribs. Almost feel like apologizing, but I truly like my food hot!!! Suggested perhaps the Manager address this with kitchen staff. Discount was applied, but truthfully, I much rather pay for a good meal!!! 😊
Had a wonderful dinner with my Pop’s fast n Friendly n the food was Hot 2 I be back soon thank country on broad
Food ways excellent! I had the tenders and ribs. The chicken tenders were huge and the ribs were good too. Home cut fries and Brunswick stew was outstanding! Make sure to get dessert. Chocolate chess pie with vanilla ice cream! Prefect way to end the day.
Definitely a must stop if you're going to be in downtown Columbus. They have excellent barbecue but I highly recommend the pork tenderloin sandwich
This time I got a pound of ham and a veggie plate. That allows me to have several sandwiches and at least two good lunches or dinners. I'm in love with the Brunswick Stew so I had to get some of that. But my super favorite is the Double Squash Casserole and they only have that on Mondays so I got some of that too since I was in town on a Monday. Tuesday is all you can eat Chicken so if you want chicken get there early bc I have driven all the way to Cols before and the BBQ Chicken was gone. But that's ok bc you can also get a pound of Turkey. A pound of ham or turkey run about $10-12 and aren't packed with all the by products of stuff you by in the store and taste way better.
Great food and experience
A colorful historical place. If you like "different" this is it.If you love country cooking and barbecue sauce, then, you will love it.I enjoyed a cup of coffee and enjoyed sitting on the bus! Yes, the bus is part of the restaurant and I ride the bus too...lolIs pretty cool 😎 you should try to enjoy yourself like if you are a child. Sometimes is a great way to get out of the routine. The service was great, as a good southern restaurant, relax, informal and friendly.Right next to it is the boardwalk and a lot of picture perfect sightseeing.Grab your camera and a comfortable pair of shoes and have a great time.If you like an antique store, this place has a lot of antique pieces and is loaded with history.Don't forget to click LIKE on my review!
This is the place to go for a BBQ PORK PLTR w/BBQ Stew, BBQ Onions, Pickles, Grilled Toast, FF's and a Coke.
Brisket was covered in a sweet bbq sauce that needed to be scraped off in order to eat. Why smoke a brisket for hours to then cover up all that good flavor. The coleslaw was warm, like it sat under the heat lamps for a while. All in all just a bad meal. Expected better. The service was fantastic though.
Long wait for food, was not busy in there got my food got all the way home I had 2 rib plates checked no sauce and for my sweet potatoes no butter and cinnamon
Usually I order the conglomerate.. a generous helping of BBq pork, beef and 3 ribs delicious.Today I tried the BBQ chicken platter and it is so good.Very good service as well.Highly recommended👍🏼
I loved it, nice place to take your kids for a meal. Go into the old bus and play with buttons. I had good food.
Y'all need to stop by and check this place out. Great people good food and you can sit and eat abord a 1960's greyhound bus.
Server was very nice! All you can eat ribs on Saturday after 4 (I hadn't planned on that!) Yum!! We had just come down to see the flooding on the Riverwalk and decided to do dinner at Country's
Bbq is good. Stew is very good. The fried chicken is great.
